Mission Statement

To promote research, development, use and understanding of electrical impedance measurements as a means of assessing normal and abnormal physiological states in medicine and biology. 
(Approved during the VII ICEBI, Kuopio 1992).

Underlying objectives

  • To support and encourage the organization of local, national and regional meetings on bio-impedance topics in collaboration with other national and international organizations 

  • To encourage and assist in the organization of international collaborative projects and in the exchange of research workers and students

Rules (excerpt)

  • The President of the Committee shall be the President of the International Society for Electrical Bio-Impedance (ISEBI) 

  • Inactive committee members will be retired by two thirds (2/3) majority votes of the members present at the committee meeting.
